Netflix, Hasbro and Rooster Teeth have teamed up to bring “Transformers: War for Cybertron” to Netflix in 2020, according to Variety. The animated series will tell the origin story of the Transformers universe.

Litton Entertainment announced today that ratings winner JUDGE KAREN'S COURT will return for a second season Fall 2011 with all new episodes. The series - which is the #1 freshman first-run strip in New York - has been renewed by Tribune's WPIX-TV.

Artists and ensembles from 13 countries will appear on the Kimmel Center stages at Verizon Hall and in the Perelman Theater, in programs ranging from classical, jazz and dance, to world, pop and new music groups, of which 17 will be making their Philadelphia or Kimmel Center debut appearances. The upcoming season of Kimmel Center programming includes 57 performances, and runs from September 25, 2009 through June 19, 2010, beginning with jazz giant Sonny Rollins kicking off the season and ending with the annual Summer Solstice Celebration.

Thomas Warner, who joined the Center in 1999, two years before its opening, has been named Vice President of Programming. Warner who first served as Program Manager, then as Director of Programming, will be responsible for the 'Kimmel Center Presents' series in the Kimmel Center and the Academy of Music-ranging across performance genres including classical, dance, jazz, world and popular entertainment. Warner will also be responsible for 'Free at the Kimmel,' a popular series of programs in Commonwealth Plaza open to the public free of charge.
