CBS announced today that it has renewed the hit drama THE EQUALIZER, starring Queen Latifah, for two additional years, beginning with the 2022-2023 broadcast season. THE EQUALIZER is Sunday’s #1 scripted series. The series originally premiered Feb. 7, 2021, following the Super Bowl.

CBS today announced that CLARICE, the highly anticipated new drama from acclaimed executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, and starring Rebecca Breeds in the title role, will debut Thursday, Feb. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), following the conclusion of the first season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY.

CBS has ordered UNITED STATES OF AL to series, a new comedy from award-winning executive producer Chuck Lorre and creators/writers David Goetsch and Maria Ferrari, for the 2020-2021 broadcast season.

CBS announced today that its winning reality competition series TOUGH AS NAILS has been renewed for a second season. The series is created by Emmy Award-winning producer Phil Keoghan and his producing partner Louise Keoghan, who are also executive producers. Phil Keoghan is the host.

CBS has given a 13-episode, series production commitment to a current day revival of the Network's classic comedy MURPHY BROWN from Warner Bros. Television for the 2018-2019 broadcast season

Amy Reisenbach has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Current Programs, CBS, overseeing the combined department that supports current programming for both CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Studios.

CBS Corporation announced today a new leadership team for its Entertainment division, promoting long-time Entertainment executive Kelly Kahl to President, CBS Entertainment, and naming veteran creative executive Thom Sherman to the position of Senior Executive Vice President, Programming.

Earlier this week, West Covina, California honored The CW's musical comedy series CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, which is set in the town two hours from the beach (four with traffic). At the ceremony were Executive Producer and Co-Creator  Aline Brosh McKenna and series stars Donna Lynne Champlin and Vincent Rodriguez III.
