Music Theatre Philly, the region's premiere, vibrant training ground for young artists in theatre and dance founded by professional Broadway performers and choreographers, is in the process of developing a world premiere musical based on the true story of the Nickel Mines Amish School shooting, which took place in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. BOUNDLESS, written by theatre artist Mary Fishburne, explores how two teenage girls from vastly different worlds discover that they must be fearless enough to ask the right questions and brave enough to hear the voice from within as it answers. The production, which will feature Music Theatre Philly students from grades 5 through 12, will have a public presentation on Saturday, May 21 at 2PM and 7PM at The Arts Bank (601 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA)

As part of its third annual Most Wonderful Month of the Year celebration, getTV will air the classic TV special Christmas with The King Family in honor of the 50th anniversary of its original broadcast. The show will debut on Wednesday, November 29 at 10PM ET/9 C.

The Four King Cousins, the vocal quartet who recently headlined a second sold-out concert at LA's famed Catalina Jazz Club, celebrate Mother's Day with the premiere of their new music video “I'll Get By/God Only Knows,” a heartfelt salute to the creative legacy of their mother's, Big Band-era greats, and classic TV favorites The King Sisters.

The Four King Cousins made a triumphant return to the concert stage, after a three decade absence, before a sold-out audience at LA's famed Catalina Jazz Club. Glamorously gowned for their entrance, the vocal quartet opened the evening with a high energy medley of Carole King's 'Music' and Neil Sedaka's 'That's When The Music Takes Me' which showcased their intricate four part harmonies. The group, whose new CD compilation More Today Than Yesterday is available now, performed a 90 minute set featuring songs from their new album, including 'I Couldn't Live Without Your Love,' plus standards from the Great American Songbook including a stunning and heartfelt rendition of 'You Made Me Love You,' and 'I'll Get By' an early hit by their Grammy nominated mothers, The King Sisters, which the group performed acapella to the delight of concertgoers.

Yvonne King Burch, lead singer of the groundbreaking Grammy®-nominated swing era vocal group, The King Sisters, and pioneering creator and producer, of The King Family Show television series starring the successful multi-generational singing group, The King Family, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2009 in Santa Barbara, surrounded by her family, just one month shy of her 90th birthday.
