Tony Award Winner VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE To Open Gloucester Stage's 45th Season


Gloucester Stage Company, under the direction of Rebecca Bradshaw, is set to open its 45th season with the Tony Award-winning play VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE by Christopher Durang. The season pays tribute to Durang's significant contribution to American theater.

THE DING DONGS Comes to Gloucester Stage Company


Gloucester Stage Company is excited to announce the highly anticipated opening of THE DING DONGS, a comedic thriller by Cape Cod playwright Brenda Withers and directed by Gloucester Stage's Artistic Director Rebecca Bradshaw. A part lesson in how power evolves and how intimidation works, audiences will have the opportunity to experience this thought-provoking play beginning Friday, August 11, through Friday, August 27, at the Gloucester Stage Company's historic waterfront theater.

Weston Playhouse Wraps Historic 2017 Season


On September 23, 2017, Weston Playhouse at Walker Farm celebrated its Grand Opening. Located on a 5-acre farmstead north of the Weston Playhouse on Route 100/Main Street, the new facility complements the theatre company's summer use of the historic flagship Weston Playhouse on the Weston Village Green. Over 650 enthusiastic well-wishers made their way to Weston for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and an afternoon of performances, outdoor music, and self-guided tours.

Weston Playhouse Theatre Company's 2016 Season to Include MAMMA MIA! & More


Vermont's Weston Playhouse Theatre Company is turning 80, and in anticipation of a remarkable 2-year celebration, it has unveiled the plans for its 2016 MainStage season in American Theatre magazine. Audiences can expect a line-up distinguished by groundbreaking partnerships, collaborations with major stars, and the Vermont Premiere of one of Broadway's longest-running hits. Producing Artistic Director Steve Stettler comments, 'We've pulled out all the stops for our 80th anniversary, and this sneak peek at the four productions that will grace the Playhouse stage is just the beginning.'
