The 52nd Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards will be presented tonight at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town. The 52nd annual Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards today announced its nominees. These annual awards are amongst the most coveted in the South African performing arts fraternity. For over 50 years, the Fleur du Cap wine brand has proudly associated itself with the Theatre Awards as they showcase the flair that is synonymous with the wine.

Durban's KickstArt theatre company will present the classic musical CHICAGO by Bob Fosse, John Kander and Fred Ebb, for a limited season this April at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre.

Pieter Toerien and KickstArt extend Stephen Sondheim's iconic musical thriller SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET at Pieter Toerien's Montecasino Theatre to 13 December.

Pieter Toerien's Montecasino Theatre will play host to Steven Stead's production of SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET, Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's musical thriller, which first premiered on Broadway in 1979.

The nominees have been announced for the prestigious 48th annual Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards that will take place at a glamorous function on Sunday 17th March at 6pm at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town.

KickstArt's CABARET, the classic musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff based on Christopher Isherwood's semi-autobiographical GOODBYE TO BERLIN, has opened at last in Cape Town. A professional production of the show has not been seen in this city for far too long and, in this fantastic production, its return is a welcome one.
