Shaun-Michael Morse

Shaun-Michael Morse is a multi-talented artist whose credits include all aspects of theater and music, including work as a performer, director, designer, composer and musical director. As an actor he has appeared in numerous regional and stock productions in both his hometown of Wichita, Kansas and the San Francisco Bay Area where he lived for eleven years. Bay Area performance credits include Sir Toby Belch (Twelfth Night) Clive/Jasper (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Nathan (Guys and Dolls) and the artist George Seurat (Sunday in the Park With George) for which he received an East Bay “Shellie” award for Best Actor in a Musical. Wichita performance credits include The King and I (opposite Kristin Chenoweth), Les Miserables’, Once Upon a Mattress, Sweet Charity, My Son Pinocchio (MTWichita), Fiddler on the Roof, Dames at Sea, Oklahoma, 7 Brides for Seven Brothers (Crown Uptown), RED, The Merchant of Venice (Wichita Center for the Arts), Love, Valour, Compassion!, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Kiss of the Spider Woman (Roxy’s Downtown), Sweeney Todd and multiple turns as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (Forum Theatre). He is the personal recipient of multiple local-area Mary Jane Teall Theatre awards for acting, directing and set design, and his productions of Inventing Van Gogh, The Grapes of Wrath, Picnic (Wichita Center for the Arts) and Moon Over Buffalo (Wichita Community Theatre) have been honored as Best City-Wide Drama/Comedy in their respective seasons. Mr. Morse holds a theatre degree from Wichita State University where he served as adjunct faculty for several years.
