BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Sam Lloyd, an actor, statesman, philanthropist, and community leader, died peacefully at his home in Weston, Vermont, on Friday, March 24. He was 91. 

Ruth Lloyd-Harlin, a retired Highland Park School District employee, has completed her new book 'Into Each Life Tears Must Fall': a very real and detailed description of events that occurred during and after the conviction of Eddie Joe Lloyd, who served 17 years of a life sentence handed down for a crime he did not commit.
