 Funding Arts Broward (FAB!), a nonprofit volunteer-based arts organization committed to supporting, sustaining and enriching the arts in Broward County, presented its Fall Luncheon on October 15 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts' Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom. Attendees enjoyed a celebration of the arts featuring an engaging presentation, “Island City Stage: Our Lives, Our Stories,” by guest speaker Martin Childers, managing director of Island City Stage. Island City Stage is an organization creating quality theatrical experiences that focus on the LGBTQ community but have a heart and soul that is truly universal.

Florida resident Ruth Anderson drew heavily from real life experience in creating her debut novel,Whistle Blower and Double Agents.  A sensational, suspenseful, and shocking spy thriller penned by a writer who worked intimately for the U.S. Government during a crisis long forgotten, Whistle Blower and Double Agents is now available nationwide.

Funding Arts Broward (FAB!) recently elected a new team of officers to begin the 2015-2016 arts funding year. The new leaders are Elaine Blattner, FAB! President; Jayne Mills, FAB! Vice President; Carolyn Lee, FAB! Secretary; and Cindy Kashdin, FAB! Treasurer.
