Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre presents the return of its annual Ballet Under the Stars performance on Sunday, June 26, two months earlier than it typically takes place. The family-friendly event takes place at the Middle Road Concert Area in Hartwood Acres park. The free outdoor event, which is part of Allegheny County's Summer Concert Series, starts at 8 p.m.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre is pleased to announce the return of its annual Ballet Under the Stars performance on Sunday, June 26, two months earlier than it typically takes place. The family-friendly event takes place at the Middle Road Concert Area in Hartwood Acres park.

Twyla Tharp, the award-winning choreographer who has rightfully become a dance legend in her own time, capped her multi-city 50th Anniversary Tour with performances from November 17th to 22nd 2015 at the Koch Theater in Lincoln Center, presented by The Joyce Theater. Yet perhaps precisely because the run has been so eagerly anticipated by those of us who have followed Tharp's evolution during a stellar career that spans half a century, the double bill of premieres she created for the tour was not entirely satisfying.

The Twyla Tharp Fiftieth Anniversary Tour concludes its 10-weeks of cross-country performances with a week-long season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, tonight, November 17-22, where it will present a double bill of New York premieres: 'Preludes and Fugues' and 'Yowzie.' Both works were commissioned in part by The Joyce Theater, which is presenting the Tharp season at The Koch.

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University presents Twyla Tharp – 50th Anniversary Tour including two Chicago premieres, “Preludes and Fugues” and “Yowzie” this week, November 5 – 8, at the historic Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Congress Parkway. In a momentous co-commission with Ravinia Festival, as well as four other dance presenters in four other cities, the Auditorium is thrilled to present these two new works by world-renowned choreographer Twyla Tharp. Broadway and television sensation Twyla Tharp brings her 50th Anniversary Tour to the city of Brotherly Love for three performances. Watch her legendary choreography ignite the stage with two new works as Dance @ Annenberg Center Live continues October 30-November 1. Instead of creating the expected for her 50th Anniversary Tour - a retrospective of her greatest hits - Twyla Tharp's restless spirit demanded she choreograph two brand new works for her troupe of 13 dancers. The Bass Concert Hall performance will showcase these two new dances, Preludes and Fugues and Yowzie.

COME FLY AWAY will conclude its Broadway run on Sunday, September 5 at the Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway at 46th Street) after 26 previews and 187 regular performances. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, COME FLY AWAY will launch a national tour in May, 2011 in Chicago. More details on this extensive, multi-city national tour will be announced at a later date.

The critically acclaimed new Broadway musical COME FLY AWAY was be featured on the FOX television program 'So You Think You Can Dance' yesterday, June 17th. Tony Award nominees Karine Plantadit and Keith Roberts (nominated for Movin' Out) performed the show stopping number 'That's Life' during the program's first live results show of the season, which aired nationally at 9pm (8pm central).
