Music Hall brings back the perennial favorite children's story theater-Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's acclaimed composite of storybook favorites, Brown Bear, Brown Bear & Other Treasured Stories by Eric Carle, Sunday, January 15th at 4PM.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces the area premiere of a musical for younger audiences, presented as part the Pittsburgh International Children's Theater's Family Series, Swimmy, Frederick & Inch by Inch, will be performed by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, from Canada. Four performances will be held only at the Byham Theater on Friday, April 11, at 11:00 a.m. (students only matinee) and 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, April 12, at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Citizens Bank is the season sponsor of Pittsburgh International Children's Theater 2013-2014 Family Series.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College (BCBC) continues its 2013-14 Target Storybook Series with Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's A Brown Bear, a Moon, and a Caterpillar: Treasured Stories by Eric Carle on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2pm. All tickets are $7 and can be purchased by phone at 718-951-4500 (Tues-Sat, 1pm-6pm), or online at www.BrooklynCenterOnline.org. The performance is recommended for ages four and up.
