BIO
The Liberian-born, American actress has appeared on thousands of stages across the world in National & International Broadway Tours (Dreamgirls and Sister Act), and as a principal singer with America's official traveling performance group, The USO Show Troupe - honoring the US military and their families.
On television she made her national network debut in the iconic and long-running series Law & Order: SVU, guest-starring in her first audition for a TV show, 7 months after moving to New York City.
Shortly after, she was featured in original readings and workshops of new musicals in NYC, written and directed by Tony winner Anika Noni Rose; Mercedes Ellington, and Jeremy Dobrish.
Renée was born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. In April 1990, while still a toddler, her family and she fled the country for the United States because of the escalation of a very violent & devastating civil war that began on Christmas Eve, 1989. They emigrated to Northport, Long Island, NY where she spent her young life.
