The Central Works Script Club - a monthly book club -  for plays! In episode #4, the Script Club offers a hit from Central Works 2017 season, Strange Ladies, written by Susan Sobeloff, which was produced to mark the 100th anniversary of the imprisonment of the a?oeSilent Sentinela?? Suffragettes. 

The Central Works Script Club, is a monthly book club - for plays! For episode #3, the Script Club offering is Bamboozled by the award-winning playwright Patricia Milton. Bamboozled, which will be available to read on the Central Works website (centralworks.org) starting August 4, was developed by Ms. Milton in the Central Works Writers Workshop.

The Douglas Morrisson Theatre has announced the final show in our 2014-2015 Journeys Season: Thornton Wilder's vast absurd comedy about the human race: THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH.

The Douglas Morrisson Theatre continues its 2013-2014 season of mystery and romance with "110 in the Shade" by N. Richard Nash, music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones. Directed by Nancy McCullough Engle, the former Artistic Director of DMT, "110 in the Shade" features Melissa Reinertson as Lizzie Curry, Reg Clay as Starbuck, David Bauer as File, Avi Jacobson as H.C. Curry, Danny Martin as Noah Curry, James Koponen as Jimmie Curry and Emma Mercier as Snookie. Filled with achingly beautiful melodies and dynamic dance numbers, "110 in the Shade" is a heartfelt musical romance about one woman's learning to believe in herself. The show runs Nov. 14- Dec. 8, 2013.

Eastenders Repertory Company closes Season 2008-2009 with PRIDE OPEN, an ensemble-created story-telling project exploring our contemporary conceptions of sexual identity. Conceived of and directed by Eastenders Founding Artistic Director and Playwright in Residence Charles E. Polly, the production features an ensemble of Eastenders company members and local performers, including Reg Clay, John Hutchinson, Rachel L. Jacobs, Suzan Kendall, Aaron Martinsen, Adeola Role and Vidya Sundaram.
