The Indie Street Film Festival (ISFF) announced its 2020 film lineup today, featuring one in-person screening and a fully online program to follow.

HBO Max’s documentary Class Action Park will premiere on the streamer Thursday, August 27th. The documentary reveals the truth about New Jersey's Action Park; widely regarded as the world's most dangerous amusement park and a staple of growing up in the New York/New Jersey area in the '80s and '90s.

 HBO Max has acquired worldwide rights to the documentary Class Action Park, based on the world's most dangerous water park, Action Park, that had its heyday in the 80s and 90s and was a staple for anyone who grew up in New Jersey.

At its regularly scheduled board meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2020, City Theatre held a series of elections for its governing board and Honorary Board; and also re-appointed its officers for the 2021 fiscal year which begins July 1.

The Young Ensemble performs the Bessie Award-winning Naharin's Virus in the Ted Shawn Theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, July 4-8. The work showcases the "superhumanly spry" (The New York Times) abilities of the Israel-based contemporary dance company, a second branch of Batsheva Dance Company. Batsheva and The Young Ensemble have gained international recognition for their use of the innovative movement research Gaga, developed by Artistic Director Ohad Naharin. With Gaga as their primary tool, The Young Ensemble lets go of the constraints of their technical training and unleashes the "free, exhilarating range of their movement" (The Guardian).

In response to declining attendance at arts education performances at the Gallo Center for the Arts, a problem the performing arts venue attributes to a lack of school funds to furnish bus transportation, Prime Shine Car Wash has established a $75,000,five-year program to help offset those costs.
