Last night, the Ms. Foundation for Women presented their annual comedy night at the iconic Carolines on Broadway in New York. This year’s show, “Sometimes, You Just Gotta Laugh!”, featured headliner Ilana Glazer as well as stand up sets from comedians Chanel Ali, Pat Brown, Zarna Garg, Jordan Jensen, Yamaneika Saunders, and Dulcé Sloan. 

The innovative educational program that debuted at HAMILTON on Broadway continued in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 16 when 2,600 students and teachers from 28 Los Angeles area Public Schools attended the matinee performance of the musical at Broadway at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.

 2 DOPE QUEENS, featuring the hit comedy duo of Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson, returns to HBO next month for a second series of four themed hour-long specials adapted from the hit podcast of the same name. Taped again in front of a live audience at Kings Theatre Brooklyn anddirected by Sandra Restrepo, the first special debuts FRIDAY, FEB. 8 (11:00 p.m.-midnight ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, followed by three more shows subsequent Fridays at the same time. Longtime Alley Theater Company Artist Bettye Fitzpatrick died today at the age of 79

Four recent college graduates joined the Alley Theatre staff in December as the first members of the Alley Theatre's Fitzpatrick Internship program. This program was created as a tribute to Bettye Fitzpatrick, who has been integral to the success of the Alley working for over 50 years as a stage manager, production manager, director of interns and most notably as a member of the Acting Company before her retirement in 2009.
