Joseph's having moral misgivings but can't bring himself to possibly lose the friendship of Matabang. When he rents a room to Clara, who's never really had a boyfriend before, the operation is in jeopardy. Then Clara starts dating Tim and a plethora of anonymous strangers are tuning in to their every move online. Touching on issues of privacy, consent, identity, lookism, and the value of women, 'Cam Baby' is a fast-paced ensemble comedy about the selves we create and the stories we watch. CAM BABY is a rich, sensitive tale that explores voyeurism, privacy, and the complexity of relationships in the digital era.

After a provocative first season, Chimera Ensemble is launching into Season Two with the world premiere of CAM BABY, an unsettling comedy written by Jessica Moss, a Lila Acheson Wallace Playwriting Fellow at The Juilliard School. Jesse Roth, renowned in Chicago for her direction of WORLD BUILDERS at First Floor Theater and THE TERRIBLE at the New Colony, will direct.

Artistic Director Rainee Denham and Chimera Ensemble are proud to present the Chicago premiere of Colette Freedman's Sister Cities, directed by Ashley Neal, August 20 - September 18 at The Den, 1333 N. Milwaukee.  Sister Cities runs Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $22 - 26. Based on availability, industry tickets are $10 with a headshot and resume presented to the box office for all performances.
