Nile Bullock is an extraordinarily gifted young actor/dancer/singer. At the age of 13 he made his stage debut In The Scottsboro Boys playing Eugene Williams under the direction of Susan Stroman and Jeff Whiting at the Old Globe and ACT theaters. He has scored guest star roles in Seven Seconds, Chicago Med and Law and Order. Nile is also a very well trained dancer in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap and Contemporary. Nile is a Young Arts winner for 2018 in the Pop Vocalist category and earned Protege Status with the acclaimed dance convention Pulse On Tour. Nile Bullock is truly a triple threat! He has appeared as a Guest Star on Ray Dononvan, Bull, Power 3

The 2023 Audie Awards recognizes distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. Billy Porter won for Best Autobiography/Memoir for his Finding Me audiobook. Viola Davis’ Finding Me, which she wrote and narrated, and published by HarperCollins Publishers, earned two Audie Awards. The Audio Publishers Association has announced finalists for the 2023 Audie Awards®, the premier awards program recognizing distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. Winners across 26 competitive categories will be revealed at the Audie Awards Gala on March 28. The ceremony will be streamed to the public from Chelsea Piers’ Pier Sixty in NYC.

The Audio Publishers Association (APA) have announced finalists for the 2022 Audie Awards. Finalists include Cynthia Erivo for Best Female Narrator and Lin-Manuel Miranda for Best Male Narrator. The new racially-charged drama Detroit Blues announces their 29 hour reading, which will be directed by Obie award-winning Leah C. Gardiner (Public Theater, Soho Rep), written by Patrice Cassedy, with casting by Tara Rubin Casting. The readings will be held at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios (244 West 54th Street - 12 Floor) today, March 10th at 12pm and 3:00pm.

In recognition of the 20 year anniversary of the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, actor/writer Jay O. Sanders' play Unexplored Interior, directed by James Glossman, received an unprecedented presentation on Sunday, May 11 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (www.mjhnyc.org). This first of its kind, technological and creative partnership with Google+, allowed the play to be seen in NYC and at the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center (www.kigaligenocidememorial.org) in Rwanda. The Flea Theater has announced a unique collaboration between The Museum of Jewish Heritage, The Public Theater, The Flea Theater, and individuals, Luna Kaufman, Emmanuel Ruranga, M.S. Due to popular demand, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) has announced the extension of the Bay Area premiere of The Scottsboro Boys, the critically acclaimed musical based on a tragic chapter in American history. Tickets are now on sale through Sunday, July 22. Preview performances begin tomorrow, June 21, with opening night scheduled for Wednesday, June 27.
