Thirty years ago, Michael Tobin stood in the wings of The Players' Ring, waiting for the City of Portsmouth's final approval before opening the doors and welcoming audiences to the very first show of the area's newest theater.

The Players' Ring will honor the history and legacy of that very first show with their production of Michael Tobin's A Christmas Carol, running from December 2nd-22nd.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present pure 'electricity' with the third show of their 2014-2015 season, the Southern California Regional Premiere of the ten-time Tony Award-winning musical, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, musical direction byJohn Glaudini, choreography by Dana Solimando and directed by Brian Kite. Seacoast Repertory Theatre ignites the Seacoast stage with a sizzling production of CHICAGO that truly is a 'summer must see' for anyone who loves a fast-paced, exciting and professionally performed musical.

Carson Kressley (Mr. Applegate) is devilishly delicious, providing a subtle playing field for the entire cast to play on. The audience delights in the Kressley-isms sprinkled throughout. Kressley's vocals and comedic timing prove that he can do more than just make people look fashionably good.
