Rubicon Theatre Company, Ventura’s non-profit professional theatre company, will continue the company’s 2022-2023 Season with the World Premiere of LONESOME TRAVELER: GENERATIONS, conceived by George Grove and James O’Neil, with musical direction by Rick Dougherty and George Grove and direction by Rubicon Co-Founder James O’Neil.

Now, for the first time ever, hear from the former dancers, the women who worshipped them, the original business and creative leads of Chippendales, and the law enforcement officers who worked the case for years.

LUMA, which lit up the Lensic stage on April 6, is a unique theatrical experience. A symphony of light, music, words and movement, is performed against a background of complete darkness. Using the dark as a canvas, the brilliant, colored light displays produce ever-changing kinetic art forms that are completely captivating to behold.

LUMA Theater will create a 'TechnoCircus' for all ages at Jorgensen in 'Art of Darkness,' Sunday, April 27, 2014, at 2 p.m. In dramatic fashion, LUMA paints the story of human enlightenment through various physical disciplines and high-tech luminous objects. Get in the mood for light to be shed on your imagination by attending a pre-show celebration, with fun and games for all ages, at 1 p.m.

The new show, recounting the life and times of legendary adult film superstar Linda Lovelace of 'Deep Throat' fame, is based on the Book, Music and Lyrics of Charlotte Caffey (founding member of 'The Go-Go's,) and Anna Waronker (singer/songwriter, founding member of 'That Dog.,') with the Original Concept and Lyrics from Jeffery Leonard Bowman.
