Touchstone Theatre presents the eighteenth year of its acclaimed Young Playwrights' Festival. This showcase of new plays written by local elementary and middle school students performs on May 19th at Zoellner Arts Center's Baker Hall. 

The Geffen Playhouse is world premiering mentalist Vinny DePonto’s latest show Mindplay. The run (already started) plays through December 18, 2022. I got the chance to chat with Vinny’s long-time collaborator director Andrew Neisler.

Touchstone Theatre presents the world-premiere of a third and final chapter in the Kitchen Chronicles, a multi-year story-gathering and performance project led by Mary Wright, to be performed February 10-20, 2022. Shows will take place in Touchstone's black box theatre.

Touchstone Theatre presents the sixteenth year of its acclaimed Young Playwrights' Festival. This showcase of new plays written by local elementary and middle school students will take place on May 22, 2021.

Centenary Stage Company's World Premiere Production of Turning by Darrah Cloud continues its run now through March 7 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center.  Remaining in-person live performances are Wednesday, March 3 at 2:00 PM; Thursday, March 4 at 7:30 PM; Friday, March 5 at 8:00 PM; Saturday, March 6 at 8:00 PM, and Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 PM.

Centenary Stage Company will open the World Premiere production of Turning by Darrah Cloud Thursday, February 25 at 7:30 PM with performances running in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center until March 7.  Centenary Stage Company will also offer a Live Stream option for the Sunday, February 28 2:00 PM performance.

After a months-long in-person and a?oevirtuala?? selection process, The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) has named the newest tri-state area schools that will partner with the JumpStart Theatre Program.  The Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF), in collaboration with New York City-based companies iTheatrics and Music Theatre International (MTI) created JumpStart Theatre, a three-year scalable program designed to build sustainable musical theatre programs in underserved schools that previously had none

After more than two years of planning, the schedule is set and tickets are now on sale for Touchstone Theatre's ten-day Festival UnBound, a community convergence featuring more than 20 free and ticketed events October 4-13, throughout the Lehigh Valley but primarily held in the City of Bethlehem. Festival UnBound uses art to spark conversation about how the city has changed in the 20 years since the closing of Bethlehem Steel and to imagine our future together now that we are a?oeunbounda?? from the Steel.
