Schimmel Center, at Pace University in downtown Manhattan, today announces programming for its 2017-2018 season, consisting of nearly 30 events.

Storm:  Dictionary:  'have great and rapid success in a particular place or with a particular group of people': example: Storm Large took  Pace Universitie's Schimmel Center audience by Storm last night and BroadwayWorld was there.    Using her intoxicating, powerful, beautiful voice, musicianship, and acting ability, she is able to deconstruct some Great American Songbook Standards in a way that unlocks another world of interpretation.  Combined with Storm's breathtaking beauty and complete control of her physicality her performance is as electrifying as it gets.  In fact looking around at the audience folks seemed to be looking at each other and silently saying, 'do you believe how good this is'?  Put Lady Gaga, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Donna Summers, Lauren Bacall and some others in a a cloud and thundering down comes Storm Large.

The Michael Schimmel Center for the Performing Arts at Pace University today announced its 2013|2014 Pace Presents Season, under the Executive Direction of Martin I. Kagan, is a world-class performing arts series with an emphasis on music superstars from around the globe, charismatic and innovative dance performances, stunning opera stars in recital and spectacular contemporary cabaret. The Pace Presents season begins on September 21 with a big band tribute to the late, great lounge legend Esquivel from Mr. Ho's Orchestrotica, culminating onJune 1 with the reunion performance of Tina Croll and Jamie Cunningham'sdance/theatre piece From the Horse's Mouth.
Shakespeare's Globe, American Showstoppers and More Set for Pace U's Pace Presents' 2012-13 Season

Pace University has announced the 2012 / 2013 season of Pace Presents, hosted at The Michael Schimmel Center for The Arts located at 3 Spruce Street between Park Row and Gold Street in downtown Manhattan. Pace Presents is a world-class performing arts and culture series with an emphasis on music superstars from around the globe, charismatic and crowd-pleasing dance performances, spectacular theatre and contemporary cabaret. The Pace Presents season begins on September 22 with Gypsy brass superstars Fanfare Ciocarlia and culminates on April 20 with Jazz's living treasure, Hugh Masekela.
