Mark trained in musical theatre at Guildford School of Acting.

Professional experience spans musical theatre; plays; radio; TV; and opera.

At venues such as Fairfield Halls; London Palladium; Theatre Royal Drury Lane; London Coliseum; the Royal Opera House Covent Garden; and recently on the BBC, Mark has worked with a number of leading directors, including: Roger Redfarn; Lisa Kent; Jo Davies; Willy Decker; Michael Gracey; Mark Nunneley; Christof Loy; Hugh Wooldridge; and Marcus Söderlund.
