The Cleveland Orchestra announced today that the 2017 Annual Gala held on Saturday, October 7 raised - for the fourth year in a row - more than a million dollars.

 On Saturday evening, November 5, 2016, The Cleveland Orchestra will join with Beachwood High School to dedicate the school's newly renovated auditorium and celebrate the school system's outstanding music education programs.  This concert is made possible by the Alfred Lerner In-School Performance Fund, created through a gift to The Cleveland Orchestra's endowment by Mrs. Norma Lerner and the Lerner Foundation.  Tickets for the free concert will be available on the Beachwood Schools website at www.beachwoodschools.org/clevelandorchestra.aspx. 

The Cleveland Orchestra today announced that the 2016 Annual Gala held on Saturday, October 1 raised - for the third year in a row - more than a million dollars.  This year's Cleveland Orchestra Gala raised $1,100,000, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the sponsors, patrons, and long-time supporters. 

On September 29 and 30, 2016, The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Most will open the 2016-17 season at Severance Hall performing Ives's Symphony No. 3 ('The Camp Meeting'), Copland's Symphony for Organ and Orchestra featuring organist Paul Jacobs, and Sibelius's Symphony No. 2.
