Oscar-nominated screenwriter Lucy Alibar ('Beasts of the Southern Wild') joins public conversation following New Dramatists alumni reading of 2012 OBIE Award-winning playwright Caridad Svich's new play Upon the Fragile Shore on October 16, 2014 at 7 PM, and The Drama League in New York City hosts its reading of the play on November 8 under Gabriel Shanks' direction as part of global artivist action centered on this work of intertwining monologues, which explores human rights and environmental issues around the world especially in relationship to human-made tragedies and their aftermath.

Cape Cod Theatre Project to Develop New Work by Sharr White, Lucy Alibar and More
Artistic Director Hal Brooks has announced the 2013 season for Cape Cod Theatre Project, featuring staged readings of new work by Sharr White, Heidi Schreck, Rinne Groff and JC Lee. They will be joined in Falmouth, Massachusetts by writers-in-residence Jackie Sibblies Drury, Andrew Dolan, Halley Feiffer and Academy Award nominee Lucy Alibar.
