Core Dance will continue its collaboration with international dance-makers Niv Sheinfeld and Oren Laor when it presents two works by the acclaimed Israeli choreographers: American Playground, a humorous, high-intensity homage to American culture, performed by Core Dance; and the U.S. Premiere of The Third Dance, performed and choreographed by Sheinfeld and Laor, that explores, through dance, the evolution of a relationship over time. This October, A Gothic Folktale opens the 2016-2017 Wonderbound season with a fantastical circus straight from the mind of Artistic Director Garrett Ammon. Set to the hauntingly beautiful music of Jesse Manley and His Band and featuring the interactive illusions of Professor Phelyx, this original production will pull audiences into the curious world under the big-top.

Denver's Wonderbound is gaining national attention this October as Artistic Director Garrett Ammon's "Serenade for Strings" premieres with San Francisco's Smuin Ballet. In addition, the work will be a part of Wonderbound's season opening production of "Enduring Grace" with musicians of the Colorado Symphony.
