And that's a wrap on the 2023/24 Broadway season! The final two shows of the spring officially opened last night, and BroadwayWorld was on the red carpet for The Great Gatsby as the VIP guests arrived at the Broadway Theatre. Check out photos below!

Mumblecore veteran and recent Emmy-winner Kent Osborne (UNCLE KENT, DIGGING FOR FIRE) and Dylan Sprouse (Disney's “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” BIG DADDY) have joined the cast of BoulderLight Pictures' thriller DISMISSED

The musical-horror film ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II) and starring David Hasselhoff, Emilie Autumn, Paul Sorvino, Adam Pascal, Ted Neeley, and Barry Bostwick, among many more, will kick off a traveling circus tour with its premiere in Los Angeles tonight, August 11th, before continuing in cities across the U.S. and Canada throughout the fall.

Nick Blaemire, known for writing the Broadway musical (Glory Days) while also performing in another Broadway musical (Cry-Baby), leads an invitation-only industry reading of TIMEPIECE-a new play by Ben Bartolone. Directed by Markus Potter (Stalking the Bogeyman), the reading will take place today, April 9 at the Manhattan Theater Club. Jason A. Quinn will stage manage the event.

IFC Midnight will release Zack Parker's PROXY theatrically in NYC and on VOD on April 18th. The film will open at The IFC Center in NYC with a nationwide rollout to follow.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center's upcoming horror series Scary Movies 7 announced it has added a special screening of Bobcat Goldthwait's WILLOW CREEK preceded by a screening of the horror classic THE NANNY, starring Bette Davis on Tuesday, November 5.
