Kenn E. Head Biography
Kenn E. Head is a veteran of the Chicago theatre scene and has performed a number of times at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He is a familiar face on many Chicago stages appearing in Romeo and Juliet (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Fish Men, The Convert (Goodman Theatre); The Lost Boy’s of Sudan (Victory Gardens Theater) where he has been almost a fixture for many years and Seven Guitars (Congo Square Theatre) where they garnered the coveted Jeff Award for Ensemble as well as Best Play. Kenn was also part of a very successful run of Invisible Man and the production of Spunk (Court Theatre). Some of his most recent work that he is most proud of includes a very successful run of The Overwhelming (Next Theater Company). Other theaters include Yale Repertory Theatre and American Theater Company. Television credits include ER and Early Edition as well as various commercials.Kenn E. Head News

The Asolo continues its season with the timeless play, Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town,” directed by Desdemona Chiang. Any time I see this classic piece on stage I am drawn to its simplicity. The show is typically done without a set or props and relies completely on the characters themselves to tell the story of life and mortality.

Set in the 1950s, Toni Stone was the first woman to play baseball in the Negro Leagues, also making her the first woman to play professionally in a men's league. Against all odds, Stone blazed a path in the male-dominated sports world, shattering expectations and creating her own set of rules.
