Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is excited to present an encore presentation of our 2018 production of A Charlie Brown Christmas as part of our 2019 Holiday Series! Created by Charles M. Schulz, based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, this stage adaptation by Eric Schaeffer is presented by special arrangement with Arthur Whitelaw and Ruby Persson, and will be directed by Resident Artist James McHale. A Charlie Brown Christmas will preview from December 6th through 8th; regular performances will begin December 12th and continue through December 29th on the Fyda-Mar Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Directed by Kari Hayter, The Vandal will add performances on Saturday, October 5th at 3pm and Sunday, October 13th at 7pm. The production run will still closing on October 20th. All performances are on the Fyda-Mar Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

The Orange County Asperger's Support Group (OCASG) and Chance Theater will be working together again this summer to present the Spectrum Speak Up outreach program. The workshops will be twice a week, from June 25 through July 25, 2019, culminating in two performances on Saturday, August 3 at 11am & 4pm at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Fyda-Mar Stage.
Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is proud to announce the return of its summer youth program, Teens Speak Up. Now in its 16th summer, Teens Speak Up gives local junior high and high school students the opportunity to connect with their peers and Chance Artists as they write, design, and perform their own original play. Through this process, students will also grow concentration and awareness, emotional freedom and connection, and self-confidence. Chance Theater Resident Artists Darryl B. Hovis and Education Director, Karen O'Hanlon will guide students through the six-week program, which begins on June 17, 2019 and culminate in four public performances on July 27 and 28 at 11:00am and 7:00pm.

The official resident theater company of Anaheim, Chance Theater is proud to announce the commencement of its 11th summer of their groundbreaking and transformative Speak Up: Take a 'Chance' education program for students grades 7-12. Over the course of this year's Speak Up, our young artists will build their storytelling skills and gain a larger sense of community as they voice experiences and create their own original play under the guidance of Chance Theater Artists. Led by Education Director Karen O'Hanlon and Producing Associate for our TYA series Darryl Hovis, Speak Up will begin on June 20 and culminate in four public performances on July 23 and 24 at 11:00 am and 6:00pm.

A Celtic Holiday with Craic in the Stone will preview on Tue, December 9. The press performance is on December 10.
