Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) opens the fourth production in the theatre's 31st anniversary season, The Princess and the Pea, on Friday, February 7, at Valley Youth Theatre, 525 N 1st Street, in Downtown Phoenix. This production runs through February 23 and marks the sixth time VYT has produced this play. Other seasons that included it were 1992, 1996, 2001, 2007 and 2013.

Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) opens their 24TH production of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, Friday, December 6, at 7:00 pm, at Valley Youth Theatre.  In addition to opening night, public performances include Saturdays and Sundays, December 7, 8, 14, 15 and 22 at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm, as well as three performances on Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm and two performances on Monday, December 23, at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm. The theatre is located at 525 North First Street, in Downtown Phoenix, and ticket prices begin at $17, when purchased as part of a 4-show package.

When Valley Youth Theatre's remarkably talented cast ~ led by the incomparable duo of 19-year old phenom Kate Brink as daughter Ellie and VYT alum Sarah Ambrose as her mom Katherine ~ takes to the stage in DISNEY'S FREAKY FRIDAY, the audience becomes immersed in the other magic that has consistently been associated with the work of Producing Artistic Director Bobb Cooper. The show runs through June 30th at the Herberger Theater Center's Center Stage in Phoenix.

Opening at Hale Centre Theatre on November 29, 2018 and playing through Dec. 24, 2018 is Hale's 16th annual production of Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Produced by David and Corrin Dietlein, with direction by David Dietlein, choreography by Cambrian James, and musical direction by Lincoln Wright, A CHRISTMAS CAROL has become a family holiday tradition for 16 years in Gilbert and has become the greater Phoenix area's number one Holiday production.

Valley Youth Theatre presents The Hobbit, weekends from Friday, February 9th through February 25th at VYT's theatre in downtown Phoenix, 525 N. First St. (southeast corner of First and Fillmore Streets). Valley Youth Theatre is an award-winning professional theatre company for audiences of all ages. This production of The Hobbit is a dramatized version of the book by J.R.R. Tolkien, author of the Lord of the Rings books which are also a popular movie trilogy by Director Peter Jackson.
