Metropolitan Ballet brings a showcase of outstanding contemporary choreography to the stage this spring with premieres by Da' Von Doane, (formerly Dance Theatre of Harlem); Sarah Mettin, Artistic Associate of Metropolitan; and Maleek Washington, (Princess Grace Foundation, 2022 Award-winner for Choreography).

The Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) will host a Shepherdstown Sneak Peek onFriday, March 24th at 8pm at the Frank Center of Shepherd University. The season preview will consist of readings from all six of CATF's 2017 plays. Founder and Producing Director Ed Herendeen will introduce and discuss the upcoming season. The film will screen at Outfest Los Angeles, tonight, at 9:30 pm, July 16, 2015 at the DGA Theater Complex. Beautiful Something follows four men on their interlocking searches for sex, art, love, and identity within the City of Brotherly Love.

In a bold undertaking as part of the company's involvement with the multi-year, multi-city National Civil War Project, Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has commissioned Our War, a dynamic new theatrical event and collection of short stories that explores-through diverse perspectives-the historical memory and present-day reverberations of the U.S. Civil War.
