Jonathon Ryan was in the Original Off Broadway cast of FILL FILL FILL FILL FILL FILL FILL FILL by Steph Del Rosso, published by Dramatists Play Service Inc.

Jonathon has worked with both internationally-acclaimed and up-and-coming playwrights and directors creating innovative stories and styles of Theatre.​

He has worked with The Contemporary American Theater Festival, Parity Productions, Page 73, The Tank, New York Theater Festival and The Flea to name a few. He has also developed works by Taylor Mac (Genius Grant Recipient, Pulitzer Prize Finalist for Drama), Mona Mansour (2020 Helen Merrill Award, 2012 Whiting Award), Susan Soon He Stanton (HBO’s Succession, Amazon’s Modern Love), Sara Farrington (Two-Time Drama Desk Award Nominee) and The Q Brothers Collective (Othello: The Remix, Off-Broadway and Shakespeare’s Globe - London).

Jonathon has also been featured in independent films and network television shows.

Breaking & Entering Presents the Pre-Emerging Artist Festival 2019


Tickets are now on sale for the Pre-Emerging Artist Festival, which kicks off in just a few weeks! This Winter, Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective is breaking the mold of the theatre world by premiering new work by seven 'pre-emerging' playwrights at the Pre-Emerging Artist Festival (PEA Fest) at the Chain Theatre, located at 312 W 32nd St, Floor 4.

The Flea Theater will extend three acclaimed productions in MAC WELLMAN: PERFECT CATASTROPHES. This festival of plays by the influential vanguard playwright Mac Wellman runs through November 1. The final two plays in the festival -- a double bill of short one-acts The Sandalwood Box and The Fez -- open on October 5; and The Art of Stacking the Deck: A Mac Wellman Symposium exploring Wellman's profound impact on the American theater runs October 4 a?" 6.

Spicy Witch Productions - the feminist collective behind the 80s-style horror/comedy Bonesetter: A Tragislasher and the burlesque romp The C*nt - is proud to present the world premiere of Could This Meeting Have Been an Email by 2017 Spicy Witch Writer-in-Residence, Kristin Slaney. Could This Meeting Have Been an Email is running in repertory with the strikingly relevant Mary Stuart by Friedrich Schiller, the play from which Could This Meeting Have Been an Email is adapted. An ensemble cast will tackle both plays this April 21-30. Together, these two pieces will examine women in positions of power, and the way our society has responded to them over centuries.
