MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale) raised more than $275,000 atits annual Spring Benefit in support of its artistic programming and education and outreach initiatives at the Metropolitan Club on Thursday, March 30. 

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year, will hold its annual Spring Benefit in support of its artistic programming and education and outreach initiatives at the Metropolitan Club, 1 E. 60th Street (at Fifth Avenue), on Thursday, March 30, 2017.

MasterVoices raised over $200,000 at its 2016 Fall Galain support of its artistic and outreach programs on October 20. The event featured the New York premiere performance of Ricky Ian Gordon and Royce Vavrek's opera 27 starring Metropolitan Opera mezzo Stephanie Blythe as Stein, Heidi Stober, Theo Lebow, Tobias Greenhalgh, and Daniel Brevik directed by James Robinson and conducted by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling with 150 singers of MasterVoices and Orchestra of St. Luke's. The evening featured Scenic Design by Allen Moyer, Costumes by James Schuette and Lighting by James. F. Ingalls.

MasterVoices raised more than $220,000 to fund the company's Artistic and Education Programs at its 2016 Spring Benefit which featured Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell and Nahum Tate starring Kelli O'Hara, Victoria Clark, Elliot Madore, Anna Christy, and Sarah Mesko, with a World Premiere prologue by Michael John LaChiusa, directed and choreographed by Doug Varone, and conducted by Ted Sperling at Le Parker Meridien and New York City Center on April 28, 2016. The Collegiate Chorale raised more than $300,000 at its annual Spring Benefit featuring the U.S. premiere of Kurt Weill and Franz Werfel's The Road of Promise at Carnegie Hall on May 7, 2015. Proceeds will go toward The Chorale's artistic and education initiatives.
