The first seven episodes will be available Wednesday, Sept. 22, on Disney+, and new episodes will continue to roll out Fridays on Disney Channel (9:00 a.m. EDT/PDT) and Disney Junior (12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. EDT/PDT).

The shorts will feature music by Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson and Tariq 'Black Thought' Trotter of the GRAMMY Award®-winning musical group The Roots, who are executive producing through their Two One Five Entertainment production company alongside Latoya Raveneau.

Geared to kids ages 2-7 and their families, each episode will feature two 11-minute stories about Alice's recipe adventures with her best pals—Fergie, a white rabbit; Hattie, her madcap friend; and Rosa, the Princess of Hearts.

Production has begun on Disney Junior's 'Mickey Mouse Funhouse,' a whimsical animated series for preschoolers and their families featuring Disney's #1 star, Mickey Mouse, and his pals—Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto.

Disney Junior has ordered a second season of 'Mira, Royal Detective' ahead of its spring 2020 debut. The news was announced last night by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming and general manager, Disney Junior, during a special advance screening of the series in Burbank, California. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen and travels throughout her kingdom to help royals and commoners alike.

Production has begun on Disney Junior's 'The Chicken Squad,' a new animated series for preschoolers and their families slated to debut in 2020. Inspired by Doreen Cronin's popular book series, 'The Chicken Squad' follows Coop, Little Boo and Sweetie-a trio of young chicken siblings-and Captain Tully, a seasoned watchdog, who use teamwork and critical thinking skills to solve problems in THE NEIGHBORHOOD and keep the peace in their backyard. Joe D'Ambrosia has been promoted to general manager, Disney Junior, broadening his current role of senior vice president, Original Programming, and rounding out another benchmark period of growth for the preschooler brand. He will now oversee all extensions of the Disney Junior experience, on- and off-screen, and will continue to be responsible for all development and production of Disney's original programming content for kids 2-7 as well as acquisitions for the preschooler demographic. Production has begun on 'Mira, Royal Detective,' an animated mystery-adventure series for preschoolers slated to debut on Disney Junior channels and programming blocks around the world in 2020. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective after solving a mystery that involves saving the kingdom's young prince. Disney Junior has greenlit 'T.O.T.S.,' a heartfelt animated comedy for kids age 2-7 about the hilarious adventures of best friends Pip and Freddy, a tenacious penguin and a kind-hearted flamingo, who are the only non-stork delivery birds in-training at Tiny Ones Transfer Service (T.O.T.S.). As new members of the esteemed team, these junior flyers must take tender care in transferring baby animals – kittens, cubs, calves, bunnies, puppies and joeys among them – from the nursery to their forever families around the globe. Together, they will learn how to nurture and care for the babies and use creative thinking and problem solving to model for young viewers that there isn't just one way to achieve a goal.

Disney Junior has begun production on 'The Rocketeer,' a new animated adventure series for young kids and their families slated to debut in 2019. Inspired by Dave Stevens' popular comic book series, 'The Rocketeer' follows Kit, a young girl who receives a surprise package on her birthday revealing she's next in line to become the Rocketeer, a legendary superhero who has the ability to fly with the help of a rocket-powered jet pack. Armed with her cool new gear and secret identity, Kit is ready to take flight and save the day with her gadget-minded best friend, Tesh, and airplane mechanic uncle, Ambrose, who join her on her epic adventures.
