BIO
Jason Steven Kopp is an actor, director, and producer based in New York City who has been performing since the age of eleven. Over the past fifteen years, he has built a dynamic career spanning regional, educational, and New York City theatre, with a strong focus on contemporary musical theatre and rock-driven storytelling.
He is most notably known for his performance as Drew in Rock of Ages, a role that has become a defining highlight of his career. Additional credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Jesus) with Spotlight Theatre and the U.S. debut of Blue Blind at The Sheen Center. Regional and Long Island credits include RENT (Roger), Footloose (Ren McCormack), The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson), West Side Story (Riff), Hair (Berger), and Something Rotten! (Nigel Bottom), among others .
Jason studied Theatre at Marist University, where he further developed his craft through a range of classical and contemporary roles including Chicago (Billy Flynn) and August: Osage County (Bill Fordham) .
In 2020, he founded Harmony Performing Arts, a production company dedicated to creating high-quality cabarets and live performance experiences across Long Island and New York City. Through this work, he has produced and directed numerous sold-out events, cultivating a vibrant community of performers and audiences alike.
