A worldwide phenomenon, begun 71 years ago in Edinburgh, Scotland, Fringe Festivals allows performers to debut new, experimental, and challenging work, develop their reputations, hone their craft, and tour the globe. Participants of the San Francisco Fringe have built their theatre careers from Fringe foundations, including Mark Jackson, Cutting Ball Theater Company, Thrillpeddlers, Boxcar Theatre, and Banana Bag & Bodice.
