Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will kick off their 2023 international tour with 31 performances across the United States. The shows will mark Springsteen and The E Street Band's first tour dates since February 2017, their first in North America since September 2016 and their first performances at the new venue.

Photographer Barry Schneier, having seen Bruce Springsteen perform locally in Cambridge, Massachusetts, suggested to concert promoters, Windowpane Productions, they consider booking him for a show. This chance encounter would lead to Bruce and the E Street Band opening for Bonnie Raitt at the Harvard Square Theatre on May 9th - a show which previously planned with no opening act.

E Street Band members Garry Tallent, Steven Van Zandt and Max Weinberg, in Toronto after performing with Bruce Springsteen at the Rogers Centre, took in the Saturday, August 25 evening performance of the smash hit musical drama, BACKBEAT, at the Royal Alexandra Theatre.
