Producers of Stephen Adly Guirgis' critically acclaimed new play THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT announced today that the extended limited engagement has recouped its full capitalization.

Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 65th Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced May 3, 2011 by Tony Award winning actor Matthew Broderick and Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose, at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement sponsored by IBM.

Due to an extension, The Motherf**k**er With The Hat will now play through Sunday, July 17th at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Directed by Anna D. As reported in the New York Daily News, The Motherf**k**er With The Hat star Bobby Cannavale sustained a head injury backstage during last night's performance about an hour into the performance. Though bleeding, the injusry was not serious. The production was paused and an ambulence called as a precaution, Cannavale finished the performance.
