The Playground Theatre is to hold a season of handpicked solo plays straight from this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  Running from October 16 through to 25 November, these five and 4 star reviewed and award nominated shows represent some of the very best work on show that featured at this year’s Fringe Festival. 

Edwin Flay's psychological study of general practitioner and serial killer Dr Harold Shipman follows his final hours as he prepares to take his life. 

theSpaceUK is announcing the full 2023 programme with over 360 shows on sale at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The 2023 line-up features the return of Fringe favourites along with a packed programme of new writing and new companies. 

Sarah Lawrie for Nailed Productions will present the world premiere of THE QUALITY OF MERCY: Concerning the Life and Crimes of Dr Harold Frederick Shipman, written & performed by Edwin Flay | Directed by Bernie C. Byrnes, 27 September - 8 October 2022.

What would you do if someone or something was watching you? Adapted from the H.G. Well's short story, The Crystal Egg Live tells the story of Charley Wace, taken in by his eccentric Uncle Cave after his father disappears. When his father's body is discovered, Charley inherits the only item found with the body-a crystal egg. Uncle Cave owns a curiosity shop in London's Seven Dials and intends to sell the egg to improve life for his family, but sinister events connected to the egg threaten to plunge the whole world into great danger.

The Tailor-Made Man, by Claudio Macor, directed by Bryan Hodgson, will run at the White Bear Theatre, 138 Kennington Park Road, London, SE11 from Tuesday 7 November to Saturday 25 November. Press night is tonight, November 9 at 7.30pm, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
