BIO
Don Cook(former Piangi in 2nd National Tour)-created his role for the national touring company in 1990 and reprised it on Broadway in 1994. He is best known for his portrayal of Valjean in Les Mis both on Broadway and on the national tour. His performence has been aclaimed "powerfully compelling, a standard of musical excellence." Other credits include Metropolitan Opera finalist; Chicago Lyric Opera' Detroit, Illinois, West Palm Beach and Miami symphonies; Bravo Broadway; Stars of Broadway. He also produces/directs his own production for the USO/Department of Defense Overseas Shows. His "Christmas on Broadway" traveled to Japan in 1995.
