Last night, August 2, the cast and creative team of Pretty Woman the Musical paid tribute to the film's director, the late, great Garry Marshall. Following the performance, the musical's director Jerry Mitchell, producer Paula Wagner, and Marshall's family, Kathleen Marshall, Scott Marshall, and Barbara Marshall, took the stage to give speeches and honor the director. They even dedicated a seat in the theatre to him with a plaque.

The Play That Goes Wrong celebrated its 500th performance on Broadway tonight, June 14th. Following tonight's performance, the cast went backstage for a celebration with a cake made by Dina Jawetz of Cakes By Dina.

With all that goes wrong, it seems they're doing at least one thing right! THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG currently holds the title of longest running play on Broadway. The company just celebrated their remarkable 300th performance and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the day. Check out the photos!

Groundhog Day, the Olivier Award-winning new musical featuring music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and a book by Danny Rubin, and directed by Matthew Warchus, celebrated one hundred performances on Broadway tonight at the August Wilson Theater. BroadwayWorld was on hand to check out the festivities, which included a one-of-a-kind cake creation by Dina Jawets.
