Dillon John Collins began studying acting after being introduced to an intensive Meisner-Technique Program which he studied at for three years. He was then introduced to Thomas G. Waites who he continues to work with in scene study and Shakespeare. Dillon has workshopped “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” playing Edmund Tyrone, “This Is Our Youth” playing Dennis Ziegler, and “A Streetcar Named Desire” playing Stanley Kowalski.

Soon after, Dillon wrote, produced, and starred in “SMALL TALK” a short film about his father’s relationship with alcohol, which was directed by J.D. Slater IV.

Dillon’s latest venture was a 90-minute One-Man Show called “A White Man’s Guide To Rikers Island.” written by Rich Roy. Based on a true story, a white man from an affluent New Jersey town ends up in Rikers Island, navigating the everyday struggles of the penal system along with his guilt. The play received a number of positive reviews.
