Summer is coming to West Palm Beach at last with SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical making its premiere engagement at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts May 20-26.

The North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will make its Dallas premiere at the Winspear Opera House April 26-May 1.

The American Theatre Guild will present the North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical. This production is part of the BROADWAY IS BACK IN THOUSAND OAKS SERIES and will take the Bank of America Performing Arts Center stage May 12–15, 2022.

Summer is coming to Baltimore this winter with SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical, making its premiere engagement at the historic Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center February 15-20, 2022 for eight performances. The three actresses that share the role of musical icon Donna Summer are Brittny Smith as “Diva Donna,” Charis Gullage as “Disco Donna” and Amahri Edwards-Jones as “Duckling Donna.”

The non-Equity North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical returned to the road with official tour opening in Pittsburgh, PA at the Benedum Center (November 16-21, 2021). The tour will then visit more than 40 cities for the 2021-22 touring season.

The North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will make its Wilmington premiere at The Playhouse on Rodney Square on December 4 & 5, for a two-matinee engagement. Tickets for SUMMER are on sale now and start at $30.

Broadway In Boston has announced that the North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical, will make its Boston premiere at Emerson Colonial Theatre.  This limited two-week engagement will play February 22 – March 6, 2022 as part of the upcoming Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

The North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will return to the road with technical rehearsals in York, PA at the Pullo Center, followed by an official tour opening night in Pittsburgh, PA at the Benedum Center on November 16, 2021 (November 16-21, 2021). The tour will then visit more than 40 cities for the 2021-22 touring season.

Once, the winner of eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will open at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on December 5th and run through December 22nd. There is ofttimes a quality difference from non-equity versus equity tours. The former is comprised of young actors earning their stripes. For many it is their first tour. Any deviation from a highly professional, class A production was not evident with CABARET, at The Playhouse through March 18. This is a great, glamorous and gripping show.

One thing becomes abundantly clear while witnessing Bailey McCall Thomas' emotionally charged performance of the song 'Cabaret' during a performance of the iconic Broadway musical of the same name: there is perhaps no 'title song' quite so evocative, quite so stunning as John Kander and Fred Ebb's composition for Cabaret. For it is during that song, performed by Sally Bowles in a Weimar era nightclub in Berlin, that the show's entire focus - every theme that shapes the work in order to tell its totally engrossing and entertaining story - is brought sharply into view, set to a memorable melody that seems at once to be both joyous and mournful, ensuring that every audience member experiences a response unique to them.
