En días recientes, un diario de circulación nacional dio a conocer la pretensión de diputadas del Congreso de la Ciudad de México, Xóchitl Bravo Espinosa, Indalí Pardillo Cadena y Ana Francis López Baughen Patiño, de presentar un punto de acuerdo para que la Compañía Nacional de Teatro del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL) incluya en su próxima convocatoria la aplicación de la paleta de color creada por una investigación denominada Proyecto sobre Etnicidad y Raza en América Latina ( PERLA), por sus siglas en inglés.

La Compañía Nacional de Teatro (CNT), del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), realiza una gira que comprende siete estados de la República para poner en escena la obra Las preciosas ridículas del dramaturgo francés Molière, como parte de su programación nacional del segundo semestre de este año y con el propósito de acercar el teatro a comunidades lejanas.

“The House That Built Me,” the newest song from Tanya Tucker's upcoming album While I'm Livin', debuts today. Made famous by Miranda Lambert, the song is one of the well-chosen covers on the release. In Tucker's version, the lyrics have been adapted to reflect the journey of a mother revisiting the home where she raised her family in order to find herself again. 

Tanya Tucker has added a second appearance in Nashville, with a performance slated for August 23 at the venerable Grand Ole Opry as part of her run of select dates this fall celebrating the release of her new album, While I'm Livin' (out the same day,August 23 via Fantasy Records).

Country legend and original female outlaw Tanya Tucker returns after 17 years. Tucker's new album, While I'm Livin', is set for release on August 23 via Fantasy Records. Produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, the album marks Tucker's first for the label and her first new material since 2002's Tanya.
