In October, Maggie-Kate Coleman will join University of the Arts' Ira Brind School of Theater Arts as the Suzanne and Doug Kreitzberg Director of the Polyphone Festival of New and Emerging Musicals, a position that is generously supported by the Kreitzbergs.

1812 Productions will present An Evening Without The Brits, the newest creation in its long-running An Evening Without… series. An Evening Without The Brits features performances by Philadelphia favorites David Howey, Leonard Haas, Daniel Fredrick, and Tony Lawton in a collection of material spanning three decades of comedy from the UK.

For Philadelphia-based actor Brian McCann, playing the title role in Hedgerow Theatre's production of Don Quixote, which runs through June 7, is the fulfillment of a long-held ambition to portray that character. Chief Conductor Charles Dutoit and The Philadelphia Orchestra join together with arts and cultural organizations throughout the city for the inaugural Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA).
