Prince George's Little Theatre will produce the holiday classic The Man Who Came to Dinner at the Bowie Playhouse from December 1 to 16. All Friday performances and the Saturday performances December 2 and 9 are at 8 p.m. The Sunday performances on December 3 and 10 and the closing performance on Saturday December 16 are 2 p.m. matinees. The play is directed by Keith Brown and produced by Malia Murray.

Following a season that included the best-selling ensemble musicalJames Joyce's The Dead, the critically-acclaimed two-man drama A Walk in the Woods, and the highly-successful area premiere of Conor McPherson's adaptation The Birds, Quotidian Theatre Company opens its 16th season with The Iceman Cometh, a rarely-performed masterpiece by Nobel Laureate and Pulitzer Prize winner Eugene O'Neill that The New York Times calls a 'tough, loquacious, magnificent play'. Quotidian's production runs October 25 - November 24 at The Writer's Center in downtown Bethesda.
On February 9 at their annual Gala, Newnan Theatre Company formally accepted the script for 'Flies at the Well,' to be performed in Newnan's historic courthouse. Commissioned author Jeff Bishop was presented with a check by Project Director Caroline Abbey, NTC Board Chairman Peter Poulos, Artistic Director Paul Conroy, and Managing Director Dave Dorrell.
