The 24 Hour Plays has announced a special Cincinnati edition round of The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues, which they will host in partnership with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, and featuring brand-new monologues written, rehearsed and recorded in 24 hours by 12 actors and playwrights.

The Cincinnati Arts Association will present LeLand Gantt in his one-man show, Rhapsody in Black, streaming May 4-17, 2021. Written and performed by LeLand and developed at NYC’s Actors Studio by Academy Award-winner Estelle Parsons, the show explores his personal journey to understand and eventually transcend racism in America.

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati (ETC) kicks off the new year with the virtual dramatic reading of the regional premiere drama/comedy 20th Century Blues by Susan Miller, streaming online for two weeks only February 1-14, 2021. Originally scheduled to close the 2019-2020 Season, this production was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For one weekend only, see a recorded performance of Kentucky Shakespeare's postponed spring tour of HAMLET! After canceling all of the company's parks tour dates for April and May of this year, they have remounted the show for one recorded performance only. Award-winning Kelly's Filmworks filmed on the C. Douglas Ramey Amphitheatre stage at Central Park.

Kentucky Shakespeare, the Official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth, is partnering with KET, the state network of PBS member television stations, to televise an encore production of the 2019 production of As You Like It. The production will air September 6, 2020 at 8:00pm ET and September 11, 2020 at 7:00pm ET on KET KY: The Kentucky Channel.
