Buffalo Theatre Ensemble (BTE) rounds out its 2016-2017 'Year of the Phoenix' Season in the McAninch Arts Center's intimate Playhouse Theatre with Alan Ayckbourn's 'Improbable Fiction,' directed by BTE ensemble member, Bryan Burke,* May 4-June 4. There will be a preview performance on Thursday, May 4 at 8 p.m.; press opening is Friday, May 5 at 8 p.m. Performances run through Sunday, June 4.

Strawdog Theatre Company, Hugen Hall and Victory Gardens' Access Project, announce a fully accessible performance of the world premiere of Strawdog Theatre's Hugen Hall production of Eugene Burdick and Harvey Wheeler's Fail/Safe, adapted for the stage by ensemble members Nikki Klix and Anderson Lawfer, tonight, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m., direction by Anderson Lawfer, Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, in the Prince Charitable Trust Rehearsal Room, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave.
