After a two-month hiatus, guitarist-turned-composer/arranger Peter Leitch brings his 14-piece New Life Orchestra back to Club 75 at Bogardus Mansion in New York City's TriBeCa neighborhood. Peter's five nights of successful performances November-January were especially gratifying because they were the first time these arrangements and compositions had been performed by this hand-picked group in public.

Maria Gobetti, co-artistic director of the Victory Theatre Center, is pleased to announce casting has been completed for the next production scheduled in The Big Victory - the world premiere of Jon Klein's comedy RESOLVING HEDDA.

Christopher Knopf's world premiere The Red Room , clearly reminiscent of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, has modern day repercussions in spite of its period time and place. Although appearing affluent on the surface, all members of this family dynasty are suffering. A failing business; for some, no job or money and hasty, psychological escapism. Though not a salesman, Edwin's (Brad Blaisdell) failures are compared to those of Willy Loman, more than once, and the entire structure/content of the play echo the tragic themes of Salesman with its domineering father, loyal-to-a-fault mother and struggling-to-be accepted sons. One might also recall O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night where parental weaknesses segue directly to the next generation like the plague. This is a very heavy-handed dramatic work containing gripping dialogue and incisive confrontations that require an outstanding director and cast to put them over with any degree of success. Fortunately, the NoHo Ace Ensemble is attuned to these challenges.

Additionally, David Burnham, star of The Light in the Piazza will play Renfield on Friday, May 1 & Saturday, May 2.

Acclaimed director Ken Sawyer (The Woman in Black) brings his own vision (and additional scenes from Bram Stoker's original novel), to this adaptation which is a darker and sexier take on the legendary story; a tale of an evil ages old and yet forever new. Lucy Seward, whose mother is the doctor in charge of an English sanitorium, has been attacked by some mysterious illness. Dr. Van Helsing, a specialist, believes that the girl is the victim of a vampire, who is at last, found to be one Count Dracula - whose ghost is only able to be laid to rest in a particularly striking manner. Staring: Rob Arbogast as Dracula, Joe Hart as Van Helsing, Darcy Martin as Lucy, J.R. Mangels as Jonathan Harker, Alex Robert Holmes as Renfield, Karesa McElheny as Dr. Seward, Mara Marini as Min, Tahni Delong as the Maid and Chad Coe as the Attendant.
