La Academia de las Artes Escénicas entrega hoy las Medallas de Oro de la Academia y nombra Académicos de Honor a Antonio Banderas, Julia y Emilio Gutiérrez Caba y a la coreógrafa y bailarina Carmen Roche. La Academia de las Artes Escénicas de España, fundada en 2014, es una entidad de carácter artístico y cultural destinada a potenciar, defender y dignificar las artes escénicas, a impulsar su promoción nacional e internacional, así como fomentar su progreso, desarrollo y perfeccionamiento.

Pennsylvania Ballet has announced the promotion of 10 dancers for the 2018-2019 season. Corps de Ballet members Aleksey Babayev, Albert Gordon, Yuka Iseda, Zecheng Liang, Nayara Lopes, and Jack Thomas have been promoted to Soloists. Apprentices Sydney Dolan, Federico D'Ortenzi, and Erin O'Dea have been promoted to Corps de Ballet. From Pennsylvania Ballet II, Flavia Morante joins the Company as an Apprentice.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim announces that Dior will design costumes for the World Premiere of Falls the Shadow, a new 30-minute work made in and for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum rotunda. Falls the Shadow is spearheaded by American Ballet Theatre (ABT) principal Daniil Simkin, with new choreography by Alejandro Cerrudo, and projection design by Dmitrij Simkin.

Philadelphia, PA (August 3, 2016) – Pennsylvania Ballet has announced the extension of Artistic Director Angel Corella's contract through the 2021-2022 season.

La bailarina y coreógrafa Mónica Domínguez, que ha trabajado en musicales como 'La Bella y la Bestia' y 'Más de 100 Mentiras', impartirá un curso de 3 horas semanales en el que se estudiarán los estilos Jazz Americano y Modern Jazz, además de preparación para audiciones.

Con música de Pedro Arriero y libreto de Julio Salvatierra, esta comedia musical es el resultado de la unión entre profesionales del mundo de los musicales y la primera promoción de Grado Superior en Interpretación en Teatro Musical de España. Se representará los días 12, 13 y 14 de junio a las 20:30h.
