In THE FLUTE ON ITS FEET at the Orlando Fringe, Zara Lawler plays the flute while dancing with C. Neil Parsons, even going upside-down and on wheels!  In a special Fringe edition of 'Clarissa Moon Talks to the Stars,' I talked with Lawler and Parsons about the inspiration for the show, multitasking, and more!

The multi-talented musicians of The Fourth Wall are well-known to Winnipeg Fringe audiences. With sold-out shows at each of the past two festivals (2016, 2017), the trio is often nicknamed 'The Fruit Flies,' after their award-winning variety show Fruit Flies Like a Banana. Fringe fans may be surprised to learn that, rather than return with a new version of the Fruit Flies... format, The Fourth Wall will be bringing a new show to the 2018 festival, entitled Fallen From the Toy Box.

Storyteller Peter Aguero, veteran of The Moth, will perform his autobiographical show Daddy Issues on the Boston area concert series 'The Fourth Wall Presents...' This production will feature a unique collaboration with the musicians of The Fourth Wall, who will serve as Aguero's opening act and resident house band. Daddy Issues plays at 8:00 p.m. on April 12 & 13 at The Lily Pad, in Cambridge's Inman Square.

Acclaimed storyteller Martin Dockery makes his Boston debut as part of the local performance series 'The Fourth Wall Presents...' This production will feature a unique collaboration with the musicians of The Fourth Wall, who will serve as Dockery's opening act and resident house band. Delirium plays at 8:00 p.m. on February 16 & 17 at The Lily Pad, in Cambridge's Inman Square.

We're halfway through the 11-day, 15-venue, 167-show Minnesota Fringe Festival. I've seen 25 shows, with another 20-some on the schedule for the next five days. Here are a few of my favorites so far. For the 8th year in a row, Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis will present the World Premiere of arguably Indy's most original and entertaining holiday offering: A Very Phoenix Xmas. This year's subtitle is Angels We Have Heard While High. Opening the day after Thanksgiving, November 29, 2013 on the Livia and Steve Russell Stage at the Phoenix, this holiday show runs through December 22, 2013 and includes Wednesday (7 pm), Thursday (7 pm), Friday (8 pm), Saturday (8 pm), and Sunday (2 pm) performances.
