Astounding actresssinger Barbara Minkus has been delighting audiences for over 50 years on Broadway and on television. Her autobiographical play 18 Minutes of Fame has been a hit with both LA and New York audiences for a few years now and pro that she is, Minkus makes changes to it regularly. In our chat, she tells our audience how it got started, what she's done to improve it for the next remounting in July and how very much the show means to her. I have seen this wonderful show 18 Minutes of Fame 3 times, and marvel at how you change things each time you mount it. It's about your life from the time you were a little girl. Have you made specific changes for this new production in July? If so, what is different?

Opposite of many summer stock seasons offering Golden Age musicals and classic plays, theaters in West Virginia this summer will offer many new, thought-provoking premieres, modern twists on classic works of theater and contemporary musicals in some of the state's professional theaters. The Falcon Theatre has announced that, due to an unexpected family situation, actress Carol Burnett has canceled her scheduled appearance in the theatre's second show of its 2007-2008 season, What's Been Bothering You Lately?...

Actress and comedian Carol Burnett will return to the stage in the world premiere of What's Been Bothering You Lately?, a new play by Charles Grodin that will open on October 26th at the Falcon Theatre in Burbank, CA and run through November 18th as part of the theatre's sixth subscription series. Producer/Director Garry Marshall has formally announced the sixth subscription series, 'Comedy Tonight! (and matinees, too)' to be presented at his FALCON THEATRE in Burbank, California. The series will feature five plays, all comedies, including two World Premieres.
